--- About "DOTOWN" ---

"DOTOWN" is low res pixel art assets created by the creator group "Maeda Design Room". Low res pixel art refers to pixel art with the lowest possible resolution and the ultimate in abstraction.

Its download site "DOTOWN" won the Good Design Award, Japan's prestigious design award, in 2022.

I remember the Good Design Award news for DOTOWN back in 2022, so it's fun to see those ultra-low-res pixel art assets being integrated into a development tool like SmileBASIC for creative projects. The way they describe it as "the ultimate in abstraction" really stands out against the usual push for high graphical fidelity. — https://tuoverse.com

DOTOWN's retro pixel art looks awesome—perfect for that Switch-era vibe. I've been wanting a clean, low-res asset pack for quick prototyping. https://image-to-stl.com
